The light of hope is what has led us here, into 2021. Throughout the past year, many have shined this light: our clients, our partners, our friends. Thank you for staying with us, in the face of uncertainty.
Even though it was a strange year, we had the opportunity to work with clients from Amsterdam and Zeist to Tokyo, London, Washington DC, New York and San Francisco. We welcomed new prospects from Moscow to the Middle East. I tip my hat to all team members for doing such a great job while working remotely.
In 2020, we also shared our new vision for memberful design with the world. I would like to thank Adobe MAX for offering the opportunity to speak about it at their global event, as well as The Next Web for publishing our essay, which you can find at memberful.design.
We said goodbye in these trying times too. With sadness we witnessed the end of The Correspondent. The English-language journalism start-up didn't survive its first year due to these harsh corona times. But there's a light of hope. The Dutch version is now 7 years old, growing and healthy.
If you want to continue to support independent journalism ventures in the future, we recommend visiting the Membership Puzzle Project by our partners at New York University, which we helped to design.
Like Tony Hawk said, I appreciate successes in the face of adversity and yet it gives me a strange feeling as well. It's not lost on us how hard it’s been for most people in these trying times and our hearts go out to them. Let's continue to support each other in the time to come.
Until we brainstorm, create, design, and write together again, we say: thank you. Without you, there is no Team Momkai.
Thank you from all of us.
